The Cooper Hotel and its affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and properties (“The Cooper” Company” or “We”) take the utmost care to ensure that the information we obtain from guests, restaurant patrons, retail visitors and online visitors, used only for the purposes we describe. This statement applies to our website, thebhc.com and digital services, and BHC properties, including The Charleston Place, The Cooper, Sorelle, 141 Meeting Street and The Riviera Theater. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to guests, restaurant patrons, retail visitors and online visitors as “you” and “your”. This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you, or that you may provide, and our practice for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting and disclosing that information. Personal information collected during the reservation process may be used to communicate with you about your stay(s) at one of our properties. Guest Reservations collects personal information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. In particular, Guest Reservations may collect the following personal information about you:
- Information You Provide to Us: We collect information from you when you voluntarily provide it to us, such as your name, email address, telephone number(s), or address;
- Content You Make Public.: We may collect information from you that you publicly upload, such as when you post a review or comment;
- Transaction and Payment Information: We may gather your payment card information from you when you make a reservation through the Site or contact our Reservations Team;
- Device/Internet Connection Information: When you use the Site, we automatically gather information made available by your web browser, internet service provider, and device, depending on your settings;

Guest Reservations does not sell personal information.

BHC cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you disclose on third-party sites. Additionally, our websites include social media features, such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook Like buttons. These features may collect your IP address, and which page you are visiting on our websites, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly.
How Long We Keep Your Personal Information
Generally, we will keep your personal information while you have an account with us or while we are providing services to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary:
- To ensure that we can complete transactions related to services;
- To respond to any questions, complaints or claims made by you or on your behalf;
- To improve our business operations;
